Read to transform the future.
At ALLOS, we believe that the habit of reading plays a fundamental role in the cultural, critical, and socioeconomic formation of a country. For this reason, we encourage children’s reading through the Reading for All (Leitura para Todos) project, which distributes children’s books free of charge in the communities surrounding our malls, as well as cultural and educational activities that promote reading.

Our objective goes beyond book donations. We want to consciously collaborate towards social transformation through education. This is why the Reading for All project is a medium and long-term initiative, which seeks to have a lasting impact on the lives of children and their communities.
In 2022, we enhanced the project in Rio de Janeiro with a travelling library, idealized by the project “Books in the Town Squares,” a social initiative sponsored by ALLOS. The book bus travelled to locations in the city where there were no public libraries, promoting access to books for even more children and families.
